At Obligado and Maldonado, a corner with its own history, the old Pantagruel has re-emerged. After twenty-five years since the Montevidean classic, a new bar-bodegón has reopened its doors, seeking to rescue the essence of ‘good eating’. With generous dishes and familiar flavors, it brings back that homey spirit to the city.
Additionally, it offers one of the most complete Uruguayan wine lists in the city, featuring 26 different labels from the country’s main wineries.
Pantagruel pays homage to the abundant table, to the traditional bodegón.
